Financing & Design

Financing and purchase of a house or house site will be through standard financing mechanisms. Local banks in Hinesburg are the National Bank of Middlebury and the Merchants Bank. The People’s United Bank has an office in Shelburne and the Northfield Savings Bank has an office in Williston. There are plenty of local mortgage companies as well.

Contracts for either design or construction of a home will depend on the parties involved (see “design options” (link) and “build options” (link)). If either is done through Bast & Rood Architects, we will use standard AIA contracts which will be made available to you on request.
